WHAT IS THE EUCHARIST OR COMMUNION?
The Eucharist, or communion is not only an important part of mass, it is a healing. The word Eucharist means "thanksgiving"
Communion is more than simply receiving the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ. It is a sharing, a coming together in union, communion. This helps us to receive the Son that we may better know the Father.
It is a strengthening, a healing. Communion gives us strength beyond our own, the power of surrender to Father just as His Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ surrendered. This allows us to receive and be that place of love that Father can use to bring in more love and share more love.
Communion also brings us to that place where Father can experience more through us. The brighter we are, the more He can experience through us.
In fact, the first time God was able to know the human condition was through His Son, Jesus. This was the first human that was fully bright enough for Father to know all of what it is to be human.
Jesus Christ was so much more than we can imagine. His surrender was a ransom sacrifice, bringing us to Father by GRACE.
It is more than a symbol of our belief, it is the dedication, the obedience, the surrender, the ransom sacrifice, the trust, the love of God made manifest in His Son Jesus Christ. This is who we share with during communion.
We are all strengthened by communion; we are all healed by Jesus. We can receive Him and know God, Our Father even better.
Experience the Love of God again and again.
Receive Communion, receive God's love.
